the fernbank museum of natural history is only two miles from our house, so we try to take clementine any free chance we have. she loves the nature quest area, even though she’s still a little young for a lot of the fun. often she just sits and watches all of the big kids running around doing their thing, which is cute. as you can see, she is also pretty close to being a full time walker these days!

today is our 4th anniversary! wow! last fall we visited ellijay, ga for some fall festivities and took little clementine to the field where we got married. here are some photos from then and now. our friend miguel took our wedding photos, including the great group shot above!

clementine turned one today! how time flies, we can’t believe a year has already passed. clementine enjoyed opening goodies from her aunt amy and also her new rope swing we got from etsy!

happy mother’s day! clementine and i made this cut-out card for gub (from clementine’s handprints) and we also got her a sorbet peony and a visit to the jeju sauna!

clementine has been enjoying eating pieces of fresh banana! she tends to get it all over!

clementine enjoyed her first record store day this morning! we went to decatur cd, which had a sizable crowd, but wasn’t too overwhelming. luckily my brother went along and could help when things got tight. clementine was a trooper and put up with the masses, she even fell asleep towards the end. i figure having gone to a record store day before her first birthday will give clementine some good indie cred down the road!

there was free beer, a ton of cool vinyl and free screen-printed bags from 88.5 wras. i grabbed the sigur rós – hvarf-heim double lp on clear vinyl and a ryan adams – heartbreak a stranger / black sheets of rain 7″ on blue vinyl, which has two bob mould covers. the 7″ artwork could be a hüsker dü album, which is fitting!

i kept things light this year as a whole, but i’m really happy with my purchases. you can check out what i grabbed last year here.
