i found myself on another work project at the hyatt regency in downtown atlanta and was once again impressed with the architecture of john portman. the open design of this hotels interior and its elevator system is quite amazing, especially knowing it’s open for over 44 years. the hotel also offers some great views of the downtown skyline.
https://purestpotential.com/bk13hro if you’ve never explored any of john portman’s buildings in atlanta, you really should; they are all truly breathtaking! we are fortunate to have so many of his designs in our downtown. be sure to check out our previous posts on his suntrust building, americasmart and connecting hallways.
